US President Donald Trump said that he had agreed with Israel and Lebanon to stop mutual attacks and thus ensured the continuation of negotiations with Iran.
“Negotiations with the Islamic Republic continue at a rapid pace,” Trump emphasized on the Truth Social social network.
The Iranian side has not publicly confirmed the continuation of contacts.
On the afternoon of June 1, the Iranian state agency Tasnim reported that Iran would suspend communications with the United States in connection with Israeli strikes on Lebanon, where the facilities of the pro-Iranian terrorist group Hezbollah are located. Iran emphasized that Lebanon was part of the terms of the truce with the United States, but fighting continues “on all fronts.”
