A 21-year-old 4th year student of the RPA of the Ministry of Justice, Fyodor Sidushkin, was asked to serve 5 years in a general regime colony in the case of financing extremism, a Mediazona correspondent reports from the Kuntsevo courtroom in Moscow.
The young man was charged with donating 100 rubles to the “Male State”.
At the first hearing on May 18, the prosecutor read out the indictment. According to the materials, the founder of the movement, misogynist Vladislav Pozdnyakov, despite the recognition of the “Male State” as an “extremist organization,” continued its activities and from September 11 to 16, 2022, published a post on an “unidentified Internet resource” about collecting money “deliberately intended to finance extremist activities” of the movement.
After this, Sidushkin, who “shared the main ideas” of the “Male State” and subscribed to Pozdnyakov’s telegram channel, transferred 100 rubles from his Sberbank card to the blogger’s personal account in the same bank.
He fully admitted his guilt. During questioning in court on June 3, he said that he knew that the Men's State was recognized as an extremist organization.
“I feel terrible about my actions. I was 18 years old at the time of the crime. There was an illusion that Pozdnyakov supported the Russian Federation,” Sidushkin said.
He said that he became a bone marrow donor and also donated money to charity. At the last meeting in May, it became known that he transferred 10 thousand to the Popular Front. Everything for Victory” to help those fighting in Ukraine and the same amount to a charitable foundation helping orphans.
“It’s difficult for me to judge myself objectively, but I think that I am not the embodiment of evil on this planet,” the young man added during interrogation.
His lawyer also noted that Sidushkin asked to be sent “to the SVO,” but was refused. The defense attorney asked that his client be given a punishment that was not related to actual imprisonment.
In the last word, the young man himself asked for forgiveness.
“During the time I was in jail, I understood a lot. Including that people participating in the activities of an extremist organization cannot be supported under any circumstances, no matter how friends of the state they appear to be. “I realized that even 100 rubles transferred to the wrong place is not a formality, it is a crime,” he said. “My file says that there are no victims.” But in fact, society and the state are the victims. I know that I committed a serious crime, I am not asking the court to turn a blind eye to this. I ask you to see me today so that I can return to the family that is waiting for me, separation from whom has been going on for 4 months, it’s unbearable. A prison sentence could destroy me.”
At the last meeting, the testimony of Sidushkin’s friend, who was with him in the apartment at the time of his arrest, was also read out. During interrogation, he said that he had never spoken out against the current government, but they did not discuss politics in general. According to the witness, he knows nothing about the “Male State”; they have never touched on this topic either.
Sidushkin was born in Yoshkar-Ola. Judging by his VKontakte page and participation in numerous lawsuits, he is already a practicing lawyer.
In June 2025, the young man was detained on charges of petty hooliganism - according to the police, he and another man were running after a third person with whom they had a conflict. In six months, Sidushkin filed ten complaints against the police in court, and soon turned to the Investigative Committee with a demand to initiate a criminal case under articles of falsification of evidence and forgery. According to the young man, the police forged his signature in the report, which stated that the detainee agreed with everything.
Thanks to complaints, Sidushkin obtained a handwriting examination in September, but the expert was unable to say who signed “due to insufficient graphic material.” The case was refused.
On December 12, at the request of Sidushkin, the inspection was resumed for another 30 days. Exactly two months later, the young man was searched and sent to a pre-trial detention center on charges of financing extremism.
In April, when asked by a Mediazona correspondent whether his criminal case was related to the fight for the signature, Sidushkin replied: “Yes.”
The “Male State” created by Vladislav Pozdnyakov was recognized as an “extremist organization” by the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court in October 2021. At that time, the movement was a public page on VKontakte, which was soon deleted; one of the attempts to create an offline MG cell ended in a criminal case back in 2018. Now Pozdnyakov runs the telegram channel “Pozdnyakov 3.0”, he sells advertising and access to his closed channels. The blogger supports the invasion of Ukraine.
