Tsikhiseli from the city of Antratsyt, Luhansk region, occupied since 2014. He is wanted in Ukraine under the article on creating a terrorist group (Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code). According to the SBU, in 2016, Tsikhiselli “transferred heavy equipment to the militants (from the LPR - Ministry of Health) for the construction of fortifications.”
According to leaks from Ukrainian databases in 2014, Tsikhiselli worked in the Anthracite department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In November 2021, a post appeared in the Anthracite public page about the awarding of Tsikhiseli with the medal “For Services to the Anthracite Region”, III degree. At the same time, the author of the post was dissatisfied with this and called Tsikhiselli and his colleagues “devils in uniform” who daily “nightmare” local residents.
Tsikkhiseli’s wife, artist Olga Tsikkhiseli, did not respond to the message from the Mediazona correspondent. Judging by her social networks, Levan Tsikkhiseli was detained after January 2025 - in that month she mentioned that after a creative day she was going to hug her husband and children.
