The Khabarovsk Regional Court sentenced a local resident to 14 years in a maximum security colony and a fine of 450 thousand rubles under the article of treason. According to the press service of the courts of the Khabarovsk Territory, the man was charged with transferring information, including about the FSB, to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO).
According to investigators, the Khabarovsk resident established and maintained cooperation with employees of the Ukrainian special service. In February 2025, to complete a task, a man collected and sent information to an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, which, according to investigators, “could and can be used” against the security of Russia and the FSB.
The man partially admitted his guilt. However, he refused to testify. To establish the guilt of the Khabarovsk resident, the court attracted witnesses, used his testimony during the investigation and protocols with an analysis of correspondence with a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region.
The court, in addition to the main term, imposed restriction of freedom on the man for a period of one year and six months.
