American technology company Apple on Monday
During its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), it introduced, among other things, Siri AI, an update to its conversational assistant based on Apple Intelligence.
Apple initially announced an improved version of Siri at its WWDC developer conference in June 2024. In May 2025, the phone maker said the software release had been delayed.
The new version is available for testing by developers now, and a beta version will be released later in 2026.
The virtual assistant has, in particular, access to users' personal information and can work in various applications on Apple devices. When you use Siri in the Mail and Messages apps, your personal assistant adapts to each person's communication style to better respond to emails.
Apple executives showed how Siri AI buys concert tickets, plans events, identifies objects in photos and interacts with them. The company has updated the look and voice of Siri, allowing users to customize the expressiveness and speed of speech.
Siri AI is capable of conducting more complex multi-stage structured dialogues, thus acting in the style of many popular chat bots, including Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini and Alice AI, writes RBC .
At launch, Siri AI will only understand English. There is no word yet on when other languages will be available.
