Almost four thousand participants in the war against Ukraine returned to Bashkortostan, a third of them with disabilities

This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Republic Andrei Nazarov.

Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov said that almost four thousand participants in the Russian invasion of Ukraine have returned to the republic. Every third of them, he said, has a disability. RBC Ufawrites about this.

Nazarov added that war participants can receive a certificate for rehabilitation - the amount per person is 52.5 thousand rubles.

According to Nazarov, 75% of the republic’s residents who returned from the war are employed in Bashkortostan. According to the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic Olga Kabanova , since the beginning of the year, 600 war veterans contacted the employment service, of whom 335 people, that is, 56%, were able to find jobs.

Last December, the head of Bashkortostan , Radiy Khabirov, reported that there were 3.1 thousand veterans of the war with Ukraine in the republic. According to the head of the region, “this figure will grow, and our first task is their rehabilitation, creating the necessary infrastructure for this.”

Earlier, deputies of the State Assembly of the republic adopted a law that establishes quotas for hiring participants in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. According to the document, employers with more than one hundred employees are set a quota for mandatory employment of participants in the war against Ukraine in the amount of 1% of the average number of employees.

According to RBC Ufa, the register of employers ready to hire those returning from the war currently includes 615 companies and entrepreneurs in the republic.

The number of natives of Bashkortostan participating in the Russian invasion of Ukraine is unknown. At the same time, the republic leads in the number of identified deaths in Russia as a whole - the war claimed the lives of at least 10,210 military personnel from the republic.
