The advance of the Russian army at the front has slowed down, and in a number of sectors the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recaptured areas previously occupied by the enemy. All this is changing the mood in Russian pro-war circles: the so-called Z-public is quite alarmed.
Pavel Gubarev , the former leader of the pro-Russian separatists of Donbass, “cuts the truth” , directly accusing the Russian leadership of misunderstanding the situation at the front - or even outright lying:

The enemy is stealing billions. They also steal from us, and in the trillions, only the enemy doesn’t mind 15 drones per one of our servicemen, but we have this quantity for a long time, and God forbid it breaks or gets lost, you will have to pay for it.

Disappointing conclusions about the progress of the war are prompting many to call for “drastic measures.”
It is clear that in the Kremlin this whole situation looks like the evil Western fascists have taken their Ukrainian brothers hostage and are doing everything to ensure that the answers to their “prisoners” are as harsh as possible. But now we are approaching the point where we will no longer have to pay for ending the war with the lives of soldiers, who are not accepted to be counted in this war on both sides, but soon we will have to pay for weakness and indecision with the lives of civilians. And the longer the Kremlin spares the “brothers,” the more costly or even impossible unpopular measures will become, which until recently seemed like the ultimate means of ending the war, because delay allows the enemy to build an increasingly effective military infrastructure, logistics, military economy and allied diplomacy.
Just yesterday, the announcement of general mobilization was a measure that would reduce the loyalty of citizens, but end the war. Now the loyalty of citizens has been exchanged for blocking the Internet by some Mahmud (completely unjustified from the point of view of state security), and mobilization has turned into a very difficult task due to the danger of logistics, which will only become more dangerous in the future. And this will happen with literally every measure and maneuver if you give in to the enemy in the speed of changing strategy.
Some, however, consider the lifesaver not to be mobilization, but something stronger – the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
Thus, a member of the Social Protection Party , Viktor Perov, suggested that deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg appeal to Vladimir Putin with an appeal to launch a nuclear strike on Ukraine:
Our President Vladimir Putin was forced to launch the SVO, but, unfortunately, everything did not go as planned. Therefore, I believe that you, deputies, should petition the president to start using nuclear weapons and hit the supporters of Bandera and Shukhevych with them, which will lead the Ukrainian leadership to sign a peace agreement and complete the NWO.

This is not the first such call to Putin in recent days. A few hours before Perov’s speech, the government’s Rossiyskaya Gazeta published a column by the director of the Air Defense Forces Museum , Yuri Knutov : “The RF Armed Forces have weapons capable of grinding down enemy defenses.”

Knutov also proposes to give the Russian special services a free hand so that they can “liquidate” the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
Fortunately, such opinions cannot yet be considered dominant in the Z-camp. Moreover, there is an opposite, probably more realistic view of things.
