Applicants were urged to submit documents to universities in advance due to possible Internet restrictions.

The head of the Council of Rectors of St. Petersburg Universities, Alexey Demidov, addressed applicants with this recommendation, writes the Rusnews telegram channel.

“Network overloads are possible when the deadline for submitting documents begins <> I would advise applicants to already submit applications to the universities that you have chosen, starting in fact from June 20,” Demidov said.

According to Demidov, the State Services do not have any backup mechanisms in case of an Internet outage. On the last days of admission - from July 23 to July 25 - the site will most likely be overloaded, and in some regions this may be supplemented by direct restrictions on network access.

Demidov recommended checking your accounts on State Services now, uploading certificate data and Unified State Exam results there in order to send the documents in the first days.
