A resident of Yekaterinburg was fined 350 thousand rubles for a comment approving the death of Z-military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky

The court fined Yekaterinburg resident Vyacheslav Valiullin 350 thousand rubles in a criminal case for justifying terrorism on social networks. As reported in the telegram channel of the Anti-Terrorist Commission in the Sverdlovsk Region, the reason for initiating the case was a post mentioning the death of Z-military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky (real name - Maxim Fomin).

According to investigators, in January 2024, Valiullin published a comment from his mobile phone in one of the communities on VKontakte, which, according to security forces, justifies the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, as a result of which Tatarsky died. In addition to the fine, Valiullin was prohibited from administering Internet resources for two years.

Mediazona found a card in the name of Valiullin on the website of the Central District Military Court. According to the information in it, the verdict was pronounced on April 9. There are no notes about the later movement of the case.

On the OVD-Info website there is a page in the name of 38-year-old Vyacheslav Valiullin from Yekaterinburg. According to the publication, in the comment for which the case was opened, in addition to approving the murder of Tatarsky, Valiullin argued that “it would be worth killing propagandists Margarita Simonyan, Vladimir Solovyov and others.”

Tatarsky died on April 2, 2023 due to the explosion of a figurine given to him by 27-year-old Daria Trepova during his meeting with subscribers. The girl was accused of a terrorist attack and sentenced to 27 years in prison.
