A Kuban resident was fined for insulting Putin in the comments of a channel with “whining” Z‑bloggers

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Novorossiysk imposed a fine of 90 thousand rubles on a local resident for a comment in the telegram channel “No Change on the Zzzzz Western Front,” follows from the resolution , which drew the attention of Mediazona.

The document says that the man published a comment “that offends human dignity and public morality, and is a clear disrespect for the President of the Russian Federation.”

He was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code - it is applied for information that “offends human dignity and public morality, [shows] clear disrespect for society, the state, official state symbols” of the state, the Constitution and authorities.

The man admitted guilt and added that he was “in a strong emotional state.” The text of the commentary itself is not given in the protocol.
