A court in Moscow arrested two more defendants in the Traber-“Antique” case

The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested two more people in the case of Ilya Traber - his business partner Vladimir Danilenko and Said Saladinov, TASS reports citing a court representative.

Both were charged with the murder of two or more persons by an organized group for mercenary reasons (Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and illegal trafficking in weapons (Part 4 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The court placed Traber himself (“Antique”) under arrest the day before. According to Kommersant, his case is connected with the murder of businessman and deputy from Vyborg Alexander Petrov in 2020. At the same time, the court arrested Alisultan Nadirbegov, who is accused of hiring for murder (Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Baza channel, close to the security forces, claims that he is considered the perpetrator of the murder.

The central office of the FSB has been involved in the investigation of the case.

For an unknown reason, the press service of the Moscow courts deleted posts about the arrest of Traber and Nadirbegov.

Alexander Petrov was shot with a sniper rifle when he left the bathhouse on his site. The media called him “the master of Vyborg” for his influence in the city.

Traber is a reputable businessman, known in St. Petersburg since the 1990s. He was close to the mayor of the city, Anatoly Sobchak, and Vladimir Putin acknowledged his acquaintance with him.

Novaya Gazeta told how the vice-mayor of St. Petersburg, Putin, helped Traber in the privatization of the St. Petersburg seaport, for which there was a fierce struggle between several criminal clans.
