In the Penza region they talked about the forced mobilization of men. Raids are taking place in populated areas

ASTRA subscribers sent a video allegedly filmed on the night of June 16-17 in Penza near the military registration and enlistment office on Skladskaya, 19. It is widely distributed in local chats in Max. In the footage, several men are sitting in a minibus, and the gathered women are trying to prevent employees from taking them away.

— Guys, tell me, did everyone sign the contract voluntarily?
- You were forced, tell me?

Subscribers claim that military registration and enlistment office employees drive black minibuses at night and guard people near liquor stores in order to “capture drunks who can easily be forced to sign something.” On June 18, the Russian National Guard announced a raid to identify violators of military registration. The police stopped cars randomly and checked 80 people in this way. Nine of them were allegedly only given summonses and reported to the department.

Three weeks ago, the Penza publication “New Alternative” wrote about the kidnapping of Sursk resident Vladimir Podkovyrkin, the torture of Penza resident Stanislav Vyaltsyn and other local residents forcibly sent to the war with Ukraine.

“Not a single criminal case has been instituted in the Penza region at the request of relatives reporting the abduction of their relatives, illegally, through torture, threats, exerting moral pressure, who signed a contract to serve in the Northern Military District!” the journalists reported.

Local resident Anastasia Fomina published an appeal to Bastrykin about the kidnapping and sending to the front of her 58-year-old father, who was taken from his home in the village of Russky Kachim, ASTRA noted. He was also brought to the military registration and enlistment office at Skladskaya, 19, allowed to see his relatives only once under escort, and that same evening, along with other men, he was sent to the Rostov region. As the girl said, both her father and other men who were at the military registration and enlistment office that day were forced to sign a contract under pressure. Fomina did not respond to ASTRA's messages.

A video from the military registration and enlistment office in Kamenka also appeared on VKontakte. The comments spoke about cases of forced mobilization from the street.

— The car took people from the street, they introduced themselves as bailiffs. And then the man took them to the military registration and enlistment office. <…> He had no debts. And everyone there is sober. They did not allow the car to leave with relatives.

The comments also reported on cases of forced mobilization that occurred earlier:

— On April 26, my father, 63 years old, was taken away in the same way. No matter where I ran, it was all to no avail; at the regional military registration and enlistment office they threw me out the door.

— Everyone is corrupt and in cahoots, the police, the administration, the bailiffs, my brother was also taken away from N. Lomov recently.

“A relative also got there thanks to police officers from the 4th department of Penza, who took him to check his documents at a neighboring house. They didn’t hit, but they found pressure points to sign the contract. At Skladskaya 19 they talk about how they will go to build and restore new conquered territories... But they won’t even let their relatives know about their departure. They are kept there like prisoners.

The woman who posted the video on VKontakte did not respond to messages. Other self-identified eyewitnesses told ASTRA that the video was true and filmed by a “practicing lawyer,” but declined to speak due to security risks.
