The governor of the Tyumen region spoke for the first time about the UAV attack: the target was a large regional oil refinery. Tyumen - 2000 km from the front line

The governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, announced a regime of unmanned danger in the region three hours ago. He warned his fellow countrymen: when they see a drone, they should hide from “its visibility zone,” call rescue services, but not post photos and videos on social networks.

Two hours later, Moore confirmed that the attack had taken place and was “repelled.” However, the “debris” fell on the territory of the large Tyumen Oil Refinery (formerly Antipinsky Oil Refinery).

“According to preliminary information, the plant was not damaged, employees were evacuated,” Moore said .

This is the first message from the governor about a UAV attack on the region since the beginning of the Northern Military District. At the same time, the Tyumen Oil Refinery was already under attack by a UAV in October 2025, but only the government reported this.

The Tyumen region is 2000 kilometers away from the contact line and the Ukrainian front.
