On the night of June 21, Ukrainian drones attacked the Kerch ferry crossing, as well as the seaports of Kavkaz (located on the Russian side) and Kerch. As a result of the attack on the Panagia ferry, one person was killed and one was injured, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported. Ferry services have been stopped since the attack. At the operational headquarters, drivers of heavy vehicles were advised to use the P-280 highway through Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Mariupol, Melitopol and Simferopol.

On the Kerch Peninsula (this is the eastern part of Crimea), four people were killed and 28 were injured as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones, said the Russian-appointed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov. He did not provide details; under what circumstances and where exactly the people died is unknown.

In Sevastopol, one of the drones, suppressed by electronic warfare forces, fell on the roof of an apartment building in the city center, Russian-appointed governor Mikhial Razvozhaev said. The area was cordoned off and people were evacuated. There were no injuries, Razvozhaev added.

After the attacks, part of Crimea was cut off due to “technological damage” in the power grids, the press service of the Krymenergo company reported , adding that emergency restoration work was underway. It is unknown whether the damage is related to Ukrainian strikes.

Advisor to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov asked residents of the peninsula to limit electricity consumption during the liquidation of the accident in the energy system: turn off air conditioners and “excess electrical appliances.” In a number of settlements, including Kerch, Feodosia, and Bakhchisarai, water was turned off due to emergency repair work on the networks.

In Sevastopol, a schedule of temporary power outages was introduced - as Mikhail Razvozhaev explained, “to eliminate overload of electrical networks” outside the city. An hour later, he reported that the overload had been eliminated, and there was already light in most areas. From the outage schedule published in the channel of the Sevastopolenergo company, however, it follows that at a number of addresses there will be no electricity during the daytime from June 22 to 26.

In addition, from 9 am on June 21 in Crimea, the sale of gasoline was stopped at all gas stations - both for cash and non-cash payments, and using coupons that were introduced earlier (you could buy up to 20 liters using them). Sergei Aksenov announced that fuel will be supplied only to government services that “ensure the life and security of the Republic of Crimea.”

Almost nothing is known from official reports of the Russian authorities about the consequences of the attacks. Ukrainian telegram channels wrote about fires in the ports of Kavkaz and Kerch (less than a kilometer from the Crimean Bridge), as well as in the territories of military units, citing data from the FIRMS (Fire Information for Resource Management System) system and eyewitness footage.

The Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that as a result of the night attack, the oil terminal in Kerch was hit, which ensures the transshipment of oil between the railway, tanks and tankers, and is also used to refuel ships and ensure the operation of the ferry crossing.

Vladimir Zelensky wrote that objects on both sides of the Crimean Bridge, which provided maritime oil logistics in the Krasnodar Territory, as well as four radar stations from the S-400 complexes and two Pantsir complexes, were damaged.

Without the support of its allies, Ukraine, unfortunately, is unable to resist. How long will the allies support what is happening? After all, what Ukraine is doing now is exactly the same as what Russia is [doing]. Yes, with a different motivation and on a different scale. But is scale and motives really important when you kill civilians and steal money from your own people? Is there really such a big difference between the LGBT ban and the abolition of Bulgakov? Zhvanetsky, Bulgakov and Gogol will remain in world culture - only Ukrainians voluntarily turned away from them.

Burning refineries and fuel shortages look like a big victory. We only have the Black Sea in common. And the same civilians who work and die in Russian factories are the same as those who die in their apartments in Kyiv and Odessa. Neither one nor the other chose such a fate for themselves. As a result, the military successes of both sides tend to zero. Only the Ukrainian government is rapidly losing its moral superiority. And it will be very sad if, instead of peace, we slide into a confrontation between two embittered, stealing elites.
