“We suffered extremely heavy losses today. Five people were killed as a result of the rocket attack on the city. Several dozen citizens turned to medical institutions, but most of them have already been sent home after receiving assistance,” said the governor of the Voronezh region.

Alexander Gusev clarified that as a result of the fire at the attacked enterprise, no excess of permissible concentrations of hazardous substances was recorded.
“The greatest damage was sustained by an industrial enterprise in the left bank of Voronezh, where a fire broke out. The open fire was extinguished at 16:30. The fire has now been extinguished, but demolition work continues. Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor measured air parameters and found no excess concentrations of hazardous substances.”
“When the debris fell,” facades and glazing were damaged in 10 apartment buildings and another six houses in the private sector. About 50 reports of damaged vehicles were received.
Gusev said that “in accordance with the previously established procedure,” 1 million rubles will be paid to the families of the victims, and 300 thousand rubles to those seriously injured. He claims that those who suffered were those who ignored the message about the air danger.
“Unfortunately, the attack once again confirmed that recommendations for various threats are written in blood. Most of the company's workers managed to go down to the shelter and, despite significant damage to the building, remained unharmed. Those who ignored the warning about the missile danger suffered, both at the enterprise and on the street,” Gusev said.
ASTRA reported that Voronezh Semiconductor Device Plant - Assembly JSC (VZPP - Assembly JSC) came under attack. This is an enterprise in the electronics and microelectronics industry that produces semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. The company is part of the Element group of companies, associated with Rostec and AFK Sistema. Later, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the attack on this facility.
ASTRA OSINT analysis showed that debris from one of the missiles likely fell on an apartment building in Voronezh. VMZ and KBKhA are 1 km away, and a military airfield is 4 km away.
