From June 23, fuel truck drivers do not need to obtain passes to enter Moscow and move around the city, according to the mayor’s official website.
The owners of Moscow and Moscow region gas station networks asked for the cancellation of passes. The measure was introduced to ensure uninterrupted supply of fuel to gas stations.
Previously, drivers of trucks with a permissible maximum weight of more than 3.5 tons had to obtain a special pass to travel around Moscow. Now there will be no temporary fines for not having a pass. The period for which this measure was introduced is not specified.
