“We are residents of house number eight on Astrakhanskaya Street in the city of Syzran, Samara Region, which suffered as a result of the terrorist attack on April 22, among whom were killed, including a child. We address the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorishchev, citizens of the Russian Federation and blogger Anton Glecherov. Our house is considered unsafe. We stayed on the street,” the woman reads the text on the paper against the backdrop of a destroyed building, surrounded by a group of citizens.
The authors of the appeal indicate that at a meeting with the head of the city they were promised “full compensation according to the standards of the Ministry of Construction, decent housing in the shortest possible time.”
“However, now officials of the Ministry of Construction of the region are trying to interpret it in accordance with the decree of the Russian Federation number 1327. They are imposing calculations on us according to social norms, depriving us of our legal property. Privatized meters are taken away from many people without payment, including violation of the rights of children, depriving them of the required meters. We ask for compliance with the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and compensation for damage to our property in full. We ask you to take personal control of the situation,” says the co-author of the appeal.
In the same video, a fragment of the statement of the governor of the Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, which he made after the strike, was added.
“The task is to provide all assistance to the family as quickly and efficiently as possible, it will be provided in full. Today we must make a decision, in addition to providing assistance to all victims with restoration or other measures that will allow people to obtain decent living conditions as soon as possible. And of course, we will discuss issues of strengthening the security regime,” Fedorishchev said in April.
At the end of the video, footage of the destroyed building and children are shown.
“I want my own house,” says the preschooler, repeating after the adult, who first pronounces these words off-screen. “Help us,” says another child, surrounded by several other minors. "Well done!" - comments a male voice-over.
