Russia asked Kazakhstan to sell it 50 thousand tons of gasoline

Russia is negotiating with Kazakhstan to purchase about 50 thousand tons of AI-92 gasoline to mitigate the shortage on the domestic market. Reuters writes about this, citing industry sources.

Kazakhstan, the agency notes, is a relatively small gasoline producer, so Russia is unlikely to be able to count on large supplies.

According to a Reuters source in Kazakhstan, the country may transfer its current surplus gasoline to the Russian Federation in exchange for aviation fuel.
