Residents of an apartment building in Syzran, where a woman and a child died as a result of a Ukrainian strike in April, complained to Putin that they were being deprived of their property.
“We are residents of house number eight on Astrakhan Street in Syzran, Samara region, which suffered as a result of the terrorist attack on April 22, among whom there are dead, including a child. We are appealing to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorishchev, citizens of the Russian Federation and blogger Anton Glecherov. Our house has been declared an emergency. We stayed on the street,” a woman reads the text on paper against the background of a destroyed building surrounded by a group of citizens.
The authors of the appeal indicate that at a meeting with the head of the city they were promised “full compensation according to the standards of the Ministry of Construction, decent housing as soon as possible.” However, now officials of the Ministry of Construction of the region are trying to interpret according to the decree of the Russian Federation number 1327. We are being forced to pay according to social norms, depriving us of legitimate property. Privatized meters are being taken away from many people without payment, including violating the rights of children by depriving them of their prescribed meters. We ask for full compliance with the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and compensation for damage to our property. We ask you to take personal control of the situation,” says the co-author of the appeal.
In the same video, a fragment of the statement of the governor of the Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, which he made after the attack, was added.
“The task is to provide all the assistance to the family as quickly and promptly as possible, it will be provided in full. Today, we must make a decision in addition to providing assistance to all those affected for reconstruction or other measures that will allow people to receive decent housing conditions as soon as possible. And, of course, we will discuss issues of strengthening the security regime,” Fedorishchev said in April. At the end of the video, footage from the destroyed building and children are shown.”
