One person died and 11 were injured after a Ukrainian missile attack on an enterprise in Volgograd, said the regional governor Andrei Bocharov.
According to the official, the deceased was an employee of the damaged enterprise; his body was found at the scene of the impact “during the liquidation of damage.” Rescuers continue to search for another employee.
11 people were hospitalized, two of them are in serious condition.
Initially, Bocharov reported that an attack by “high-speed air targets” was repelled in Volgograd, and the production facilities of “one of the enterprises” in the Krasnooktyabrsky district were damaged.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky later announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the Titan-Barricades plant with Flamingo missiles. The same was reported by Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Sergei Sternenko and Ukrainian monitoring channels. Astra confirmed this from footage of the attack.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in 24 hours they shot down 511 Ukrainian drones and three Flamingo missiles.
