A summer recreation program for Ukrainian children has started in Georgia. The first group has already arrived in the country - children of military personnel, as well as children left without parents as a result of the war in Ukraine. Accompanying people from Kyiv came with them.
Over the course of ten days, camp participants will enjoy a rich cultural and educational program. Excursions around Tbilisi are organized for guests, as well as trips to Bodbe, Sighnaghi and Telavi. In addition, various creative, educational and entertainment events have been prepared.
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, along with representatives of the country’s government, met with the participants of the first shift.
The program will not end here. From July 4 to July 15, Georgia will receive the second group - children of Ukrainian National Guard servicemen from Sumy.
