At the congress of the United Russia party in Moscow, a propaganda poster was presented with the image of the president and the slogan: “Being for Putin is the basic minimum.”
On the poster, published by the Kremlin pool channel, in the word “for” instead of the letter “z” the Latin z is written, which has become a symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Above the main slogan there is a smaller inscription: “United Russia is the party of the president.”
A poster with Putin is already being used for propaganda work in the regions, United Russia told TASS.
This is the first time since 2007 that United Russia has declared itself the party of the president. Over the past years, Putin has noticeably distanced himself from the party in power, whose chairmanship has been held by Dmitry Medvedev since 2012.
