In the Novosibirsk region, some gas stations suspended fuel sales
Several gas stations in the Novosibirsk region have suspended the sale of fuel to individuals. This was reported by NGS with reference to the words of the acting Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship Development of the region Denis Ryaguzov.
According to the official, at some gas stations gasoline can only be obtained under long-term contracts, as well as municipal and state orders. “In areas of the Novosibirsk region where Gazprom Neft does not have a presence, we manually resolve the issue of providing fuel to the population,” Ryaguzov said. He also added that there are no problems with gasoline in Novosibirsk itself.
Ryaguzov did not specify which specific gas stations he was talking about. It is also unknown when we can expect fuel sales to resume as usual.
The head of the region, Andrei Travnikov, at a meeting on the fuel situation, noted that these are not new difficulties for the Novosibirsk region.
“Similar situations were encountered in previous years during the period of repairs of oil refineries, when supplies were reduced. We learned to work in manual mode, and we continue in this mode,” NGS quotes him as saying.
On June 23, Governor Travnikov announced the introduction of restrictions on the sale of fuel in the region. The regional government recommended selling no more than 40 liters of gasoline and 200 liters of diesel fuel at gas stations located on highways. At other gas stations, the limit was set at 40 and 80 liters, respectively. Sales of fuel in other containers are limited to 10 liters.
