Military man Alexander Lunin, who threatened Putin with a mutiny, was sent under arrest because of extremist (or Nazi) symbols

The Rossoshansky District Court of the Voronezh Region arrested military man Alexander Lunin under an administrative article about the demonstration of extremist or Nazi symbols (20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), noted “Verstka”.

A message about Lunin’s arrest for 11 days appeared in a telegram channel associated with him on June 27. It did not specify what led to the arrest. Information about the case appeared on the court’s website only two days later, on the morning of June 29.

In court, “Verstka” refused to disclose details, saying that “such cases are not subject to disclosure.” The maximum punishment under this article provides for 15 days of arrest.

• Alexander Lunin is a military man who actively published appeals to Vladimir Putin on social networks. In one of them, he threatened a military mutiny if he was not allowed to meet with the Russian president live so that he could tell “the whole truth of what is happening in our country now.” In just one day, this appeal collected more than 10 million views.
