In Bashkortostan, limits have been introduced on the sale of gasoline - 30 liters per car. Authorities said this was a "short-term restriction"

The Bashneft company will supply gasoline to those gas stations in the republic that are not part of the company's gas station network.

The Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of Bashkortostan Alexander Sheldyaev announced a “short-term restriction on fuel supply” in the republic. According to him, the limit is set at 30 liters per car. RBC-Ufa writes about this.

— Fuel supply for budgetary organizations — without restrictions. For legal entities working under contracts, vacation is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations, Sheldyaev clarified.

He added that “the main operators of gas stations [in Bashkortostan] are taking all necessary measures to provide fuel to the population.” Sheldyaev said that at the beginning of June, Bashneft-Retail supplies to gas stations in the republic amounted to 2.6 thousand tons, and on June 25-26 they exceeded 3.5 thousand tons.

According to the minister, at the 25 largest gas stations in Ufa yesterday, June 28, peak queues were recorded - 803 cars. This morning, Sheldyaev noted, there was a queue of 490 cars. The Ministry of Industry of Bashkortostan expects that the situation with the supply of gasoline to citizens can be resolved by the end of the week.

In turn, Prime Minister of the Republic Andrei Nazarov said that at a meeting with the leadership of Bashneft, an agreement was reached on the supply of gasoline to the gas stations of the republic, which are not part of the company’s network of gas stations.

The head of Bashkortostan , Radiy Khabirov, said that “we need to stop this excitement.”

— We have increased the supply of fuel from oil refineries to gas stations. This wave of excitement that is going on, at least we are talking about the republic, is going astray. Even in comparisons “morning - lunch” we see a decrease in the excitement, but we cannot say that we have reached the point where everything is fine. It is necessary to strictly bring [to the removal of the hype] by controlling in manual mode,” Khabirov said and added that the hype arose due to “macroeconomic reasons and reasons of a subjective nature.”

Khabirov stated that “there are areas where everything depends on small private gas stations”: “Due to their small size and the inability to buy fuel, entire areas are left without fuel, which is unacceptable.”

The head of Bashkortostan drew attention to those gas stations that “inflated prices” for gasoline. Khabirov asked to “give a picture” of these companies.

“Then we’ll deal with them little by little.” They will come to us for subsidies, we will say: “How did you behave? Why did you do that?” <...> It seems to me that in such difficult times, God knows what kind of money they will earn there, but the fact that they behaved like this, it seems to me, is not very good,” Khabirov said.

Due to Ukrainian drone attacks that shut down large factories in central Russia, the country lost about a quarter of its total gasoline production in mid-June, according to Reuters. Authorities in dozens of Russian regions were forced to limit the sale of fuel.
