One of the most famous Russian organizations, the Association of Conversion and Women, noted the 10th anniversary. The first performances and affairs of “conversions” are memorable in the early 90s, when a huge number of employees of the military-industrial complex suddenly turned out to be thrown out of jobs, not in demand by society, rushing to change, the association supported many in those years. But not only. The strategies, government proposals and society developed over the years have contributed to the development of democratic transformations in the country.
