Technologists - How much time does they pass before the product enters the market? Three years at least.
In the theater, compared to industries, everything happens with lightning speed. And living in such a rhythm, it is wrong to wait two years. You can skip something. Maybe we will alternate. The year is a school, next year is a poster (for the viewer).
- The target audience is, first of all, professionals or a mass viewer too? How will tickets spread?
- The viewer was younger, the target audience is 20-45 years old. To get to the performances is quite simple - tickets will be on free sale. As for the special program, we do not sell tickets and here, probably, we will have to show some ingenuity. The special program is intended in the first stage for students and artists of Perm Theaters. I do not think that it is interesting to most spectators. Still, these are internal stories.
- At the third festival, as in the first two, there will be representatives of different theatrical professions (actor, director, etc.), each of which chooses one performance for the festival poster? We came to the conclusion that it makes no sense to collect the directors in Perm. The world is so dynamic that people have no time to come somewhere and lose a week of life. Of course, someone will come to us, but the main goal is to collect future directors to make new names appear right on the territory of the festival.
BV: This year, we decided to make an emphasis on students for seventy percent, so Boris Milgram and [theater critic and producer] Oleg Loevsky gathered the program. In 2010, there was a binding for the year of France in Russia, now we chose Estonia (Baltic states). 2013 will be the year of Holland in Russia. We already held several meetings and decided that the poster would be more Dutch. In general, the festival, like any business, should develop. You cannot come up with a single scheme and operate it.
And how exactly are you going to develop your "business"?
- “The Young Scene” holds two festivals (“Big Peresa” and “Texture”). The theater theater has its own festival "Space of directing". And now we have an idea to combine all these festivals. If the “RA text” is a large -scale project, and there are a competition of plays, then it would be nice to convey the player plays “The Direct's Space”. So that young directors put excerpts from these plays. Thus, we, without interfering in the concept of the festival, make co -products. We will also try to connect the Museum of Contemporary Art of RERMM and the Perm Design Production Center on the “Directed Space”. To engage in theater, you must be inquisitive. One director, explaining something to the artist at the rehearsal, said: “You are not inquisitive, you must not only deal with the theater, but also watch movies, attend exhibition of theater, but also watch movies, attend exhibitions.” There is such an opportunity in Perm.
ki ". There is such an opportunity in Perm. What PCRD and Rermm do is extremely interesting. And those young directors who come to our festival should see all this.
- But still, two theater festivals in a row - “texture” and “directing space” - is this a successful combination? In Perm there is an interest in the theater, sufficient to make the public. Actively went to both?
You know, when I arrived at Perm three years ago to make the first festival “Space of directing” and did not expect that I would stay so long, the problem with the viewer was serious. Moreover, the poster was a nascent.
But Ho treated the theater how? Repertoire and repertoire. I don’t remember at all that in Perm, except for the “Diaghilean Seasons” and “Arabesque”, there were some theatrical festivals. There were some local joys in Vi de “Magic Culis” and “Theater Spring”. But there were no serious projects. And so they began to appear. It’s hard in the first year, a little easier in the second and well in the third. Oleg Loevsky has been making the real theater festival for more than a dozen years, and he is waiting for him in Yekaterinburg. Ten years in one trend.
We crossed this barrier (misunderstanding of the viewer). Hay helped us a lot and the Museum of Contemporary Art and the design center with its shares, of course, “Living Perm”. It works for the theater as well. We all complement each other. We are all in the same territory. Three projects of the year for the theater theater and the “Young Scenes” are a reasonable quantity, I don’t think that for the viewer it is too much. We declared ourselves as a cultural capital. And what is the cultural capital? This is when something happens every day. I see how many people come to the festivals. So, there is interest. We make a quality product. I think that for the millionth city, overshooting has not yet happened.
