The imposing Polish classic, who divides his life equally between music and gardening, has always pampered our country with his attention. But after he wrote music for the memorable celebration of the 850th anniversary of the Russian capital, commissioned by the TV-6 channel, and the full Na-Na group began to be noticed at his Moscow concerts, Penderetsky became like family to us. And it is not surprising that he comes to close the Moscow Stars festival at the same time as a composer and conductor. Penderecki made a name for himself in the revolutionary sixties with works written in the avant-garde aleatoric technique. Since then, a lot has changed, radicalism has gone out of fashion, the style of the master composer has smoothly mutated to a pleasant neo-romanticism.
