April 5. And it is opened by a musical group, also specializing in the latest music, Neue Vocallisten Stuttgart. The group consists of seven vocalists, more or less all types of voices are available - from coloratura soprano to countertenor and bass profundo. It has existed since 1984 and is always interested only in the latest and most unusual: new vocal techniques, new forms of articulation, new possibilities for sound production.

“The Third Hand” is meticulous, but also secular pop music in a good way; it conveys both the delight with which the musician took up all the instruments at once, and his excellent mastery of archival material.

Modern City Foundation, February 26 – March 26 Zakharov did something elegant and ironic. He comments on the theorist Groys, who coined the term "Moscow Romantic Conceptualism". The illustrations for Groys’s article will be photographs of a girl in a red cap, but not a granddaughter, but rather a nymphet, a kind of Lolita. And instead of a wolf, there is a guard dog, or rather, her doghouse, from which she rushes to the girl.

One day a young art critic, and in those days also Afisha columnist Anton Gorlenko, called me. Knowing that my son Misha and I are sometimes taken to an exhibition, and not necessarily to the old Tretyakov Gallery, Gorlenko shared good advice: in the Regina gallery, he says, an exhibition of the German artist Jonathan Mese has opened, it is very suitable for children - everything is so bright, lively, aggressive, like in a film about Spider-Man, go with your child, you won’t regret it.

The Moscow Arts Center on Neglinnaya was once a respectable grazing area for private collectors with rarities from the beginning of the past. Today it has turned into an experimental site for young animals. Tretyakov Gallery employee Yulia Aksenova, with purely museum consistency and persistence, is trying to prove and show: a strong new generation has suddenly emerged in Russian contemporary art.

www snapcatalog com For some reason, laptop bags are traditionally the ugliest bags in the world. Maybe because laptops didn’t look very good at first, and bags were made to match them, or maybe because laptop bags were initially only carried by office workers, who didn’t demand anything from these bags other than functionality. In general, laptops have gotten a lot better lately, but bags are still a problem.

is more experimental in nature, but what’s nice is that he goes to Moscow under the old name Akufen and with old material. In terms of experiments, a recent signee of the M_nus label, Conrad Black, will perform - he puts strange atmospheric sounds on dirty bass lines and mixes them with elements of drum and bass.

In 2005, China received its pavilion at the oldest and most prestigious biennale of contemporary art - the Venice. Like 6 years ago, the main character of Chinese Venice is Cai Guiqiang, this time he acts as a curator. The six authors did not limit themselves to the space they were offered - former utility rooms inside the Arsenal. Some of their work was located in the adjacent gardens, where an architectural structure was built from bamboo.

Alexey Evdokimov, who worked in the Garros-Evdokimov team for five years (“[Head]breaking”, “Grey Slime”, “Wagon Factor”), came out of the doubles game - and did not lose energy. Everything that both had remained with Evdokimov: a sense of rhythm, style, journalism, narrative techniques. "The Tick" is a thriller, and a thriller with a tough and branched criminal plot skeleton. Meat on the Skeleton - stories about horror films and various kinds of maniacs directly or indirectly related to cinema.

Francesco Clemente. The Thing in itself, 1983. Clemente reproduces one of the most ancient painting techniques (fresco) and a symbol of rebirth (the wheel) - so the avant-garde was able to survive and absorb a lot Art that has survived the avant-garde without being avant-garde. “It was traditional, not avant-garde, not so popular, but in the end it survived” (Nikic)

"Cinderella" Opera and Ballet Theater (Novosibirsk) Cinderella mania last year swept the entire ballet world from Rome to Alaska. In the Golden Mask program, it was reflected in the production in Novosibirsk: there, the young St. Petersburg choreographer Kirill Simonov decided to create his own version of the story. But it was not he who became the main character of the ballet, but the musical director of the performance, Teodor Currentzis.
