On August 15, 2018, at the initiative of the State Museum L.N. Tolstoy and the museum-estate L.N. Tolstoy “Yasnaya Polyana” in the Russian State Library took place in the public discussion “Why is Tolstoy? Personality, freedom, state ”, in which the historian of literature, professor at the University of Oxford, Andrei Zorin and sociologist, professor of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences Grigory Yudin, took part.
