In Moscow, they will install the sign “Last Address” in memory of the Markish Peres On August 12, as part of the project “The Last Address” in Moscow, a memorial plate dedicated to the Jewish poet Peresa Markish (1895-1952) will be opened. According to the press service of the Russian Jewish Congress (rivers), the memorial sign will be opened on the wall of the house on the former Gorky Street (now the 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, house 36, p. 1), where Pepper Markish lived until his arrest in 1949.
