Rene Girard "Tiresia and Critic"
In 1966, the French philosopher Rene Girard made a speech at a scientific conference, which marked a turn in his academic career from literary criticism to philosophical anthropology. On the anniversary of the death of the Great Culturalologist, Discourse, for the first time publishes a translation of this turning point into Russian. Rene Girard (1923-2015) is a member of the French Academy, a philosopher and literary critic, known for the ambitious project of “fundamental anthropology”.
