Nerves frayed
The case of Alexander Ponosov, the director of a rural school in the Perm region, accused of using counterfeit Microsoft software, has been closed. The reason for dismissing the case is its “insignificance.” Putin already said at a press conference: “Seizing a person who bought some kind of computer there... is bullshit.” And Microsoft seems to have no complaints. And everyone, except the prosecutor's office, understands that the country is inundated with illegal software...

Let them say!
Last week, the Grimpen quagmire made a dreary sound, and a pair of bubbles surfaced to the surface. The air smelled in the air ... First in News BBC, then in Times Translation At the "foreigner") the new version of the murder of Alexander Litvinenko was expressed by the former leader of the deceased-Alexander Gusak, in the past-the head of the 7th department of the development department of criminal organizations of the FSB of Russia.

Come to the light
Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych promised to remove the issue of the existence of blacklists for Ukrainian and Russian politicians, writes Ukrayinska Pravda. The history of the conflict is simple: first in Ukraine Zhirinovsky and Zatulin were declared persona non grata for anti-Ukrainian statements. And then “Russia responded” and on February 3, Ukrainian deputy Poroshenko was not allowed into St. Petersburg.

Daily Journal: Political enlightenment
The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation ordered the reprinting of ballots intended for elections in St. Petersburg. Just in these ballots, the names of the current deputies are highlighted in large font, just in case. Well, to make it clearer to people. And the competitors (and it turns out that the all-powerful “United Russia” still has them) complained to the All-Russian Central Executive Committee - they say, this is propaganda, rights are being violated...

Don't touch the priest!
“The draft law clearly establishes that the duties of a clergyman are duties related to the performance of public duty...” says the explanatory note to the document. Even earlier, a member of the Federation Council, representative of the Republic of Ingushetia, Issa Kostoev, and co-chairman of the Slavic Legal Center, lawyer Anatoly Pchelintsev, made the same proposal. The problem of protecting religious buildings would probably really be worth solving, thereby protecting the priests as well.

With my own eyes
Starting tonight, netizens will be able to watch live the archaeological excavations that have caused a storm of protests in the Arab-Muslim world. Critics of the project argue that excavations and the construction of a new pedestrian bridge in the area could damage Islamic shrines on the Temple Mount, including the Al-Aqsa and Qubbat al-Sakhra mosques.

Confusion of souls, confusion of brands
In Russia, if you are not aware, there is a consumer boom. At least that's what economists and statisticians assure us. They say that the population does not trust banks, is afraid of inflation, and as soon as they have an extra ruble in their pocket, they rush to the nearest store to buy it.

The choice is up to the president
The Estonian Parliament, in the third final reading, adopted the bill “On the demolition of prohibited structures,” which involves the dismantling of the monument to the Liberator Soldier in Tallinn, Postimees reports. The document was adopted with a minimal majority of votes: 46 for, 44 against. The intrigue is that now the law must be ratified by the President of Estonia, and he recently spoke out in the spirit that it was not a good story, and that it contradicted the constitution.

The fight for memory
Before the Estonian deputies had time to pass the scandalous law “On the demolition of prohibited structures,” the Young Guard had already staged a picket near the Estonian embassy in Moscow. For those who are not there yet, I would like to explain. The fact that the law is strange, to put it mildly, is also recognized within the country: Estonian centrists and even the president talk about it. Most likely, it will not be ratified.

One for all
Today the verdict will be announced for the director of the secondary school in the village of Sepych, Alexander Ponosov, accused of using unlicensed Windows software at school. The prosecution demands a fine of 3 thousand rubles (although the damage to Microsoft is estimated at 267 thousand). In general, the case is quite a sham: they found a teacher in a distant land and decided to punish him alone for the tons of unlicensed programs that are floating around the Russian expanses.

And the president is against
Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves said that he will not sign the law “On the demolition of prohibited structures,” which will allow the dismantling of the Tallinn monument to the Liberator Warrior, Postimees reports. The President of Estonia once again emphasized that he considers the law unconstitutional. However, all this does not mean that the scandalous monument to the Bronze Soldier will not be demolished.

Game on frames
Sergei Ivanov announced his resignation from the post of Minister of Defense. By presidential decree, he was appointed to the post of First Deputy Prime Minister. Ivanov will have to coordinate, in addition to the military-industrial complex, part of the civil sector in the economy. Now in the Fradkov government there are two first deputy prime ministers - Dmitry Medvedev and Sergei Ivanov.

"Do you remember our meetings?"
Actually, from Saturday to Monday, I try not to think about politics and not to remember about politicians- I give a dismissal head that has enough roof and weekly television and radio programs ... No, however, there are sanitary standards! And no Sunday television analytics, God forbid! Putin on the weekend is too much. “You’ll come home - here you are sitting” ...

On the issue of sound quality
The other day I had the opportunity to participate in a round table at the journalism department. We discussed information and analytics on the radio. So to speak, at the present stage. They called radio stations that in one way or another relate to information. Everyone came. Everyone spoke. We, the Ekhovites, also spoke out, of course. In the hall are audiences from the regions, from Belarus, rectors and teachers of local journalism and journalism departments.
