Prose of a strict regime
On October 29, it marks eight years since the arrest of scientist Igor Sutyagin. In April 2004, Sutyan was sentenced to 15 years in prison for state treason. The International Organization of Amnesty International has recognized the scientist political prisoner. So he became the first Politzer of the era of Vladimir Putin. A few months ago, the President of the Russian Federation refused Sutyan to pardon. He refused, because the scientist once again did not plead guilty.

Daily Journal:
It is somehow difficult to seriously comment on the assertion that “The Other Russia” is an “accomplice of the regime.” I think that Kasyanov himself is no longer happy that he uttered these words. Most likely, they were said out of frustration, due to, let’s say, the not very successful and intelligible actions of the RNDS recently.

Reasons for optimism
The topic of the president, elections, mechanisms for preparing these elections and their possible results could not have been returned. It would seem to be in power in the hands of all the tools so that everything goes, as the authorities are needed. But in the note “staggered” I already wrote that the actions of the president and his colleagues do not always depend on them, but obey the deep socio-political processes.

Polonium for the Internet
The “Human Rights in Russia” portal, which has been blocked for more than a week as a result of a hacker DDos attack, opened a “reserve server” at hro1.org on Monday night. Everyone is already accustomed to DDos attacks on opposition Internet projects: similar things happened with the sites of Echo of Moscow, Kommersant, and with the (now banned) NBP community on Livejournal.

Don't go, stay with me, Or Ode to Sanity
Not just often, but literally every day. No longer in one place, but in several at once. No longer 100-200 people, but 15-20 thousand each. In squares, in factories, on the pages of newspapers. Famous and completely unknown people. They all ask Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin not to abandon us and stay for the Third Term. And, you know, I even believe that many, perhaps the majority, write, come and ask sincerely.

Tsar of the Nobles and Tsar of the Peasants
The editors of Hedgehog approached me with a request to comment on an interesting situation. The magazine published two articles under the pseudonym Boris Suvarin. After which a meaningful discussion broke out on the forum, in which, by the way, an interesting conclusion was made: “Darling - it’s me!”, i.e. Boris Suvarin = Leonid Radzikhovsky. Interesting... But no, “I’m not Souvarine, I’m different.” We will respect the author's pseudonym. Moreover, SUCH.
