The theater is closing - we are all sick
There is unanimity and prosperity in the country - preliminary results of the State Duma elections: turnout - 62%, "United Russia" - 63.2% of votes, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - 11.7%, LDPR and "A Just Russia" received almost the same result - 8.4 % and 8% of votes. Yabloko has 1.6%, SPS – 1%. The people rejoice, and opposition parties and human rights organizations report widespread violations.

The elections are finished - everyone is happy
The Duma elections are completed. Their results were quite predictable. The winner was known not only at the beginning of the election campaign, but also long before it. The struggle for the second place between the Communist Party and the Socialist Revolutionaries became meaningless after Vladimir Putin headed the United Russia, and the party Sergei Mironov could not count on “silver”, but perhaps on passing into parliament.

Hello, “washed” Russia!
As always, United Russia did not deceive - Russia really won a “crushing victory,” as “ours” wrote in the leaflet. She ran the “Chekist hook” across her own torso, right into the solar plexus, and when she bent in half, she hooked herself in the jaw with her fist from below - it was so nice, it cracked. Churov, shaking his beard, honestly counted and spanked with his lips.

The elections are over. Long live the elections!
The main task of the opposition today is to nominate a single candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation, says one of the leaders of the Union of Rightist Forces, Boris Nemtsov. “The three of us - Garry Kasparov, Vladimir Ryzhkov and I - have already begun negotiations on this matter. I believe that Mikhail Kasyanov, Grigory Yavlinsky and Vladimir Bukovsky can and should also take part in them,” Nemtsov said "Interfax" .

Daily Journal: Worms
Published last Friday by the Kommersant newspaper, a frank interview with the co-owner and president of the financial and industrial group with the simple name “Finansgroup” Oleg Shvartsman, in which quite detailed and openly (or rather cynically) talks about the economic goals and methods of the “power bloc” headed by the deputy head of the Kremlin Administration Igor Sechin, caused a lot of noise. Moreover, it is interesting that few people doubt the veracity of the facts presented.

Daily Journal:
Relations between Catholics and Orthodox Christians is a topic in which no, no, and the state will get involved. Before the revolution under Peter and Catherine, Catholics were invited to Russia, but they did not have any special rights. After perestroika, Catholics coexist with Orthodox Christians within a single legal field, where all “canonical territories” are an extra-legal concept. However, interchurch relations are precisely the space where these “territories” exist.
