About a prostitute
In society About a prostitute March 3, 2008 Alexander Ryklin Last week, the editor -in -chief of the profile magazine Mikhail Leontyev on the air of Echo of Moscow made the following statement: “Sorry, and Moral proved to us that she will not be engaged in prostitution in Russia? It’s not obvious to me. ” Still amazing, inhuman people are our statesmen. For many years now, it is absolutely obvious for all of Moscow that Mr. Leontyev himself is engaged in prostitution without closing his mouth.

On Sunday we walked along Manezhnaya Square. There were about 25 of us - activists of The Other Russia, led by Kasparov. In our hands we held plastic bags on which it was written: “I am not participating in the farce. March 2, 2008." Walking with us were mainly Western journalists and domestic riot police.

Success of Zyuganov, defeat of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation
For Gennady Zyuganov, the result of yesterday's vote is his first success in the presidential election. And, at the same time, it can be considered a significant defeat for his party – the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. At first glance, this conclusion seems paradoxical. After all, one might say, when we say the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, we mean Zyuganov and vice versa.

How I took part in a farce
I've never voted so stupidly before. Now I’ll tell you, and you’ll laugh at me. But I can't resist. Although everything that happened to me, of course, was not accidental. For me, March 2 is the day of general elections for everything. In the morning I rushed to Echo to choose Venediktov.

Cheerful, but no longer scary
In St. Petersburg, on the night of March 2-3, the leader of the regional branch of the Yabloko party, Maxim Reznik, was detained. As Fontanka.RU reports, the official pretext for the arrest was “resistance to police officers.” At the same time, as eyewitnesses testify, the law enforcement officers themselves did not stand on ceremony with Reznik: they pushed him into a car and took him to the 78th police station.

Point of the support
I do not have myself the hope of turning the world, But I refuse to live in fear. V. Konetsky Needless to say, the situation for dissenters in Russia today is difficult. Of course, she is still not as dangerous as thirty years ago, but, firstly, moves in this direction, and, secondly, inspires much less illusions in comparison with that long ago.

Daily Journal:
During the “March of Dissent” in Moscow, march participants were detained, including Nikita Belykh, Lev Ponomarev, Denis Bilunov. At the moment they are in the bourgeois department of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate. Now a protocol is being drawn up, I think that we are talking about Article 20.2 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses: “Violation of the established procedure for organizing a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing.”
