In the last decade, a new category of publications has become noticeable in the religious book market of Russia - let's say, “directorial” books. They differ from ordinary ones in that the visual series in them is of the same great importance as the content. The book becomes not only a source of knowledge, but also images. And the publication itself is perceived as an installation, an object for examination and meditation.
