The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) refused the Government of the Russian Federation to revise the decision in the case of Maria Alekhina and others against the Russian Federation in the Grand Chamber. The decision of the ECHR is the basis for the abolition of the sentence regarding Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhina and Ekaterina Samutsevich, convicted of hooliganism after the punk action in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in 2012.
