The case of Yegor Zhukov has some chances to become the same iconic as the Dreyfus case in France and the Bailis case in Russia were in due time. The difference is that then the French and Russian public felt a threat emanating from growing anti -Semitism, were able to fight and, ultimately, these local battles won.
