The history of a concrete fence with diamonds
BORIS LAKHMAN, architect, 69 years old: “I am a Muscovite, I graduated from the Construction Institute with a degree in civil engineering, then at the Roskoopproekt design workshop, where I was assigned, I underwent training as an architect. From there I was invited to the Mosgorstroymaterialy design and technical bureau, where I worked for 18 years. In the seventies he became the chief architect. I had 10 people in my department: artists, architects - I selected them myself.

The fence has found a hero
Esquire tracked down the creator of a concrete fence with diamonds (“PO-2 fence slab”), the most replicated architectural project in Russia. Recorded by Yulia Bogatko.
