38 thousand residents of the Krasnodar Territory cannot leave Russia due to debts. The Krasnodar Territory is one of the five regions of the country where the largest number of debtors who are unable to leave Russia is 38 thousand people. At the same time, Kuban leads the list of regions where debtors are rushing to pay off their debts after receiving a “stop list” from the bailiff service.

The Krasnodar Territory is not able to reduce the size of its public debt in the near future. Vice-Governor Igor Galas announced this at a press conference, Federal Press reports. According to the deputy head of the region, the public debt is a sore point of the Kuban budget. Currently it amounts to 145 billion rubles, and 7.5 billion is spent annually on its maintenance. At the same time, the region is now objectively unable to reduce the amount of public debt.

Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Tatyana Nesterenko warned that without economic reforms by the end of 2017 the state would not have money to pay salaries in the budget sphere. “ If you do not change anything, then by the end of next year we will have neither reserves nor the opportunity to pay salaries, we will have serious economic problems ,” Nesterenko said. According to the deputy minister, the Russian economy is located in the "Center of Storm".
