In August, Kuban residents will receive increased utility bills
Since July 1, in the Krasnodar Territory, as throughout Russia, utility tariffs have increased. On average, the increase in tariffs in Kuban was 4.1%, but in some municipalities it will be even higher - up to 6.6%. Electricity tariffs have increased from July 1 from 3.88% (for city residents in houses with gas stoves) to 4.17% (for rural and urban residents in houses with electric stoves and electric heating appliances). The gas tariff for the population increased by 2.8%.

The Krasnodar Territory is unable to reduce the amount of public debt
The Krasnodar Territory is not able to reduce the size of its public debt in the near future. Vice-Governor Igor Galas announced this at a press conference, Federal Press reports. According to the deputy head of the region, the public debt is a sore point of the Kuban budget. Currently it amounts to 145 billion rubles, and 7.5 billion is spent annually on its maintenance. At the same time, the region is now objectively unable to reduce the amount of public debt.
