This morning, Open Russia activist Yana Antonova was searched in connection with the case of an undesirable organization. According to preliminary data, the search is connected with the initiation of a criminal case under Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code (“Carrying out the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization in respect of which a decision has been made to recognize it as undesirable”), reports the former chairman of Open Russia, Andrei Pivovarov.

Today, April 9, early in the morning, employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia raided the office of the Ecological Watch for the North Caucasus and the homes of activists of the Open Russia network movement Yana Antonova and Leonid Zaprudin. At the same time, a number of details indicate that this special operation is not an initiative of the Kuban investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee and the regional FSB, but a task set by Moscow.

Law enforcement officials seized documents from the Sochi administration. The city administration reported this to TASS on Tuesday. “[There was] a notch. There were four riot police with special assault rifles; the search was conducted by investigator of the Western District of the Investigative Committee Mishin.
