A 23-year-old young man living in the Starominsky district of the Krasnodar Territory was sentenced to a fine for publishing music on his personal page on a social network that law enforcement considered extremist. “It has been established that for a long time, the indicated person, using his own page on one of the social networks, massively disseminated extremist material,” the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office reported.

Employees of the Center for Combating Extremism detained opposition member of the Yeisk City Settlement Council Nikita Nesterenko; the deputy is accused of publishing a prohibited video on the Vkontakte social network. The deputy was taken to the police department and forced to admit guilt in order to be sentenced to a fine, otherwise they were threatened with administrative arrest. Deputy of the Yeisk District Council Alexander Korovayny reported this to the Voice of Kuban.
