Deer antlers stolen by Hunter Thompson returned to Hemingway's family
From the book “Venice. History of water and land" Hunter Thompson's widow returned the deer antlers that her husband stole from Ernest Hemingway to Ernest Hemingway's family. Thompson stole the antlers from Hemingway's home in Ketchum, Idaho, in 1964, three years after the famous writer's suicide. Hunter Thompson visited Hemingway's home while writing his essay "What Lured Hemingway to Ketchum?" He was trying to figure out what the Nobel laureate in literature liked about living in rural Idaho.
