From the book "Venice. History of water and land " Residents of the city of Harbin in China asked the local authorities to establish a memorable plate on the house in which the poet Arseni Nesmelov lived. This was reported to Gorky by members of the Russian club in Harbin. Arseny Nesmelov (Metropolitan) was born in 1889 in Moscow. In 1920, he ended up in Vladivostok, where he began to be printed in newspapers under the pseudonym Nesmelov, who took in memory of the deceased friend.
