Iraq handed over lists of leading military experts to the UN
Iraq has given UN officials a list of scientists associated with Iraq's chemical, biological, nuclear and missile programs, AP reported. In this list, according to the UN representatives, more than 500 names. The UN inspectors were given permission to speak with the scientists in private. This condition, together with guarantees of non-disclosure of the source of information, should, according to UN officials, encourage scientists to talk about clandestine weapons development in Iraq.
