Yukos is interested in developing Iraqi oil fields
The head of Yukos, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, confirmed that the company he heads is interested in developing Iraqi oil fields, Interfax reports. "If tenders are announced in Iraq, we will definitely look at the possibility of our participation," the businessman said, speaking at the Washington headquarters of the Carnegie Endowment. "Iraq is one of the good world (oil) provinces, and, of course, everyone is interested in it. We will try to be there earlier than the rest," Khorodkovsky said.
