1793. Pavel Pestel was born
220 years ago, on July 5, 1793, Colonel Pavel Pestel, one of the leaders of the Decembrists, was born. He headed the Southern Society and was the author of the Russian Pravda - a project of the First Republican Constitution of Russia. In 1822, Pestel was transferred to the colonel into a completely upset Vyatka Infantry Regiment and put him in order within a year. Alexander I himself, examining it in September 1823, put it: “Excellent, like a guard,” and granted the Pestel 3,000 acres of land.
