1968. Invasion in Czechoslovakia
45 years ago, on August 21, 1968, the troops of the Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Hungary, the GDR and Poland were introduced into the territory of Czechoslovakia under the pretext of "protecting the conquests of socialism" in this country. The purpose of the operation was to remove the reformers from the power of the reformers, led by Alexander Dubchek, who dreamed of "socialism with a human face." This was carried out during the year passed after the invasion.
