1993. The death of Zviad Gamsakhurdia
20 years ago, on December 31, 1993, in the village of Dzveli-Hibul in the mountainous region, Samegrelo was found dead Zviad Gamsakhurdiya, the first president of Georgia, a former participant in the Soviet dissident movement.
